My most triumphant example is Ursa, who despite his staggering 80% growth has gained HP twice.
Lesser example is Grifen in this game, who has gained STR (20%) at least once while not gaining any MAG (50%).

Armorbane weapons seem fairly common. Haven't seen all that many horsebane weapons.

Common-ish. You are assured to see them, but not too often.

Depends on how often Haspen can make us rage with such weapon's presence :P

Basically, would Imbue, Blossom, Discipline, or Nullify(or mebbe Guard) be more useful to tank effectively?

Blossom to hold chokes better, guard to protect people better, I'd suggest the HP-bases regen for knights as it requires investment you were already gonna do, or Nullify to laugh at armored effective weapons.

I only suggest discipline to get higher tiered weapons, chances are you have more than enough CON to deal with weight.

Eh, not so much, actually. Surprisingly. Great Knights only have 12 Con, which means weight allowance of 15(but, on the other hand, heaviest weapons they have access to without Discipline are only 18 Weight). Knights have 9 Con, but a Soliferrum is 11 Weight, which means a -1 to speed unless I either take Spears as my C(pointless, since Soliferrum is a better version of Silver Pilums), or increase my Con(also pointless, because there's no way I'm gonna hit the speed cap).

Is Luck worth a damn? I feel like it isn't. >.>

But anyway. We have healers galore, and Discipline isn't too useful when I'm not meant to be aggressive. So, either Blossom, Guard, or Nullify. Which means I have to wonder just how much armorslayer will come up (or rather, whether you guys will be able to kill them off quickly enough to keep the tank from dying), whether there's anyone in particular who should be Guarded(any glass cannons(with supports available...)?), or whether I'll just sittin' in doors and throwing sticks at people.

EDIT: Roderic and Fezz seem like they're the closest things we have to glass cannons, at least in terms of physically defensive capability. Everyone's decently tanky.

Luck affects your hit, evade, and DODGE!, and I don't see why everyone shuns it like it was Charisma or something.

Yeah, but if a boss has a crit build going, LCK won't help too much, and other stats have more utility for achieving Hit and Evade whilst also affecting other things.

But for me, I need a dump stat to get good growths, and for a tank, that means Luck gets the boot. Can't afford anything else.

One of these days, I will bed an invincible General who cannot hit anything, and doesn't damage them even when he does. I will be WAHL. 10 Strength, 10 Skill, 60 DEF, 70 RES, and a bunch of SPD and LUK!

...Whut.

Just use Dulam, then Carrion. Problem solved.

Speaking of which, I don't know what Poison or any of the ailments actually do. It never says.

Alright, so, it seems the people Guard would be useful for to Defend would be Efa(and a support between a Knight and an Archer fits anyway; Longbow Archer can hit the people the Knight is Holding the Line against, after all), Alec, maybe Maible, Fezz(particularly once he gets to his Wrath point), and maybe Candy or Roderic.

@Fezz: Yeah, Fezz is a scrappy glass canon. He was built with dodging being his ability to stay alive more than not, along with taking carefully calculated risks to work his wrath for however much I can.

Holy Guard will help a bit more with their "may survive being brought below one health once" and "choose the outcome of a single roll" ability. Yay for minor narrative powers.

His next PS will be evasion based to make up for his lacking luck often found in evasion builds.

@Ailments: Wiki 'em. Haspen bases them off the wiki.
