I think Haspen did say the plot wouldn't be moving anywhere until FEF1's done, and there's only so much shenanigans that can happen between plot

This. ER is an interlinked behemoth, but FEF is merely a type of game. Just because there's many SGs doesn't merit an SG sub-board. Same for FEF!

I don't see how that's relevant. All of the RtD games are merely types of games and there's no inherent interconnection. Same for Mafia. When I talked to ToadyOne, all he implied was necessary for a sub-board was the widespread adoption of a system. I think a better argument against it would be that they aren't started with much frequency. But that would rule out ER too.
