Well, I've got to get my skill, strength and speed up as much as possible to have much effect. Against armoured and high Defence enemies, I'm useless, and if I don't close the range to the softer targets that have ranged attacks, then I'm going to get maimed. My only real defence, is that I have a decent amount of health, and even that isn't as good as it might need to be.

I need to play carefully if I'm going to live... Maybe I should put that 5% into DEF instead of SKL?

Your call Zako, all I can say is that you'll really shine when we get to indoor areas though with your stealthy magicky stuff you got going on due to pillar hopping.

I hope so. I kinda wish we were using Version 1.22 of the rules, since Fencers get a good buff indoors which would have put me at ease a lot better.

Also, who says that Roderic can't get flustered?

You might try to see if Haspen will let you treat trees as pillars for the sake of the Fencer's abilities with a personal skill. Not sure if he'll accept it, but that would provide some boost outside as well as inside at the cost of a skill.

Also on that point Zako, if you wish Maible and Roderick can start a minor support talking about fighting styles and such, which would allow her to teach him the theory of her parents' fighting style, which woulkd make a good personal skill.
