You know, I just realized something I think is funny. The only Fire Emblem games I've actually played, (and never beat) is the remake of the first one.

I was underwhelmed by Shadow Dragon (or whatever the hell the subtitle was). It was okay, but the characters didn't get enough development in my opinion, and the combat animations seemed lackluster. I missed the hilariously over the top feel of the GBA titles.

The only Fire Emblem game I've played was that one... Er, with the guy and that paladin red haired chick. Fire Sword or something like that? I never beat it either, stopped somewhere like a quarter of the way through maybe.
