Partly as a result of the "Are your parents deeeeeeead" poll in the other thread, I have decided that not only will my character's parents be alive, well, and happily married, but she'll also have a large extended family that she lives with or near. Take that, Conveniently an Orphan trope!

That's OK.  That's what the prologue chapter is for.

I suppose, for my part, I should really start putting together my character.  I have a few disparate ideas, but nothing really concrete yet.

EDIT: Oh, just to confirm, I take it we're using 1.20 rather than 1.22?

Monks are actually pretty cool, once you really get the look at them. Their siege magic has no literal downside as it both hits harder than some of them, and actually has some pretty decent accuracy. They also weight less, which is a plus (although mages make this up by their STR adding to their CON), and while they do less 'damage,' if anyone has been looking at mages you realize that all of their damage, in fact most of everyone's damage really, comes from their respective STR or MAG stat. The weapon helps, but its a small boost. They don't even really need it as much as others because few people have decent RES.

Also all of their spells have a Crit Rating. :v

They also have a category dedicated entirely to effective magic which is awesome. If I didn't already have a type of character planned out for FEF 2, Fezz would be a monk. ...I'm almost tempted to change the class honestly, it would require a small editing... Which I'm heavily debating now. Once I get access to my computer again I'll give it another look at.

Also I see fun times with Candy and the others, hahaha.

My problem is how my mage trainee, decides to abandon anima completley, / why she didn't just start out as a dark user, also I am thinking dissaproving parents (she should get a sword not pans arround with magic damnit) but maybe not it sounds kinda stereotypical
