You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Dang son, Sara's carrying a pike. I got respect for that, you don't see those very often in games and so such, which is sad really. I've always liked 'em.

I'm going to be using a halberd later though :P

A halberd is pretty nice, but then you give up those nice ranged attacks though, which is kinda sad. Nothing says pointy stick like stabbing someone from several feet away.

On the upside though, I get BOTH choppy AND stabby :D

Incredibly true, at a greater range than that of an axe or sword even too, easily my third favorite weapon. Admittedly the Bec de corbin (pole hammer) comes ahead though for me personally, but that's because I always have a soft spot in my heart for bludgeons.

I always thought Zweihanders were hilariously awesome myself, but hmm, I'd have to go with long ranged slashing weapons, like Glaives.

Being a fencer myself, I'm tempted to say a Saber. At the same time, though, Spears and Glaives do amplify reach quite nicely...

(Impromptu weapon discussions yeeeaah!)

I don't have a favorite weapon, really. Halberds are cool, but so are crossbows, javelins, and one-handed swords.

Can't believe I forgot about the glaive! Welp, that makes halberds my fourth favorite now.

Zweihanders are pretty fun, vicious weapons in the right hands of a shock trooper who knows what they're doing. You basically got a mini-spear/hammer up in there, that is some dang good versatility.

(I'm honestly, terribly surprise this hasn't happened sooner within the FEF games.)

Sadly, I don't have anyone to learn swordplay from or with, so what little I do know is self taught. Keeps me competitive at the Ring of Steel event at my local Ren Faire though.

Oh, I thought this discussion was only about polearms.
Personally, my favorite medieval weapon in general would probably be the kusarigama.
English-wise, I'd probably have to go with either the flail or the arming sword.
