Double-posting to say: Birdy's come up with an alternative plan, using Cyra and the Castle Longbow to attack the Magister. She would only need to hit once, dealing 66 damage, and with the speedy ring she'd be able to double. On the other hand, her hit rate is lower.

He's what I've found. First, we've overlooked his Evasion from using a Fire Tome. Which sucks, as it bumps down Ciera's accuracy to 64%, with a 40% chance of being able to end the battle.

On Cyra, we have a 34% Accuracy after she gets her bling on armed with the Castle Longbow. But, she has at least two chances to kill, with each arrow being lethal. If I did my math right, this means that her final probability of ending this now is about 51%. This also means that Fezz can fire on Amana instead, as any contributions against Roy will be largely irrelevant.

Therefore, I propose this plan.

Efa to 13,10, Trade Cyra the Castle Longbow for the Iron Bow.
Julius to 11,10, Trade Cyra the Combat Ring and the Hermes Ring for Lockpicks and a Vulnerary.
Grifen to 12,9, Heal Cyra
Fezz to 13,12 - Purge Amana.
Cyra to 11,12.
Miguel to 11,13, Rescue Cyra and Trade the Black Shard for the Scimitar. Canto to 11,12
Alec to 11,12. Toot the flute for Miguel and Fezz.
Fezz, continue orbital bombardment.
Miguel to 8,15, drop Cyra on 7,15.
Candy, dance Cyra.
Cyra, to 8,9, fire the Castle Longbow upon Gustav Roy.
Shiela, Axe a bitch.
Leo, hold your waifu.
Ciera, get ready to liquify Amana.

Alright, I'm no strategist, so there may be more efficient ways to go about this. If there are, feel free to make adjustments as necessary. But I think this might be our best way forward.

Here comes the problem. Castle Longbow only has one shot left. Which means it's an all or nothing type situation if we do that plan. If we pull Ciera in, yeah she needs both shots, but we can also use Fezz to supplement that attack, while leaving the castle longbow to try and murder amana later.

Edit: Add in the fact that one shot from Fezz without a crit but with a Grif support means Ciera would only need to hit once and things get just a little bit better. Sure he only has 24% hit but that's hardly the point

Editx2: Also, we didn't overlook evasion from Fire Tome, I think you're overlooking hit from the skill ring. She'll have 184 hit when all is said and done, and he has 110 evd.

Darn! Putting my thinking cap back on... I suppose three queries, since I am now PfP.

First, can another Longbow be pilfered from the sentry? If yes, that would be magical. If no, darn throw any longbow shennigans in the trash.

Second, what are the odds of Sheila ending this in one hit since she can double Roy with a Silver Axe and the ring bling? Given the damage ring and a blessing, her one hit should deal 29 Damage, just enough to end him. Split between two attacks, we might have better odds there than we think.

Third, would giving the Slim Sword to Cyra be an option? Her final Hit is a bit better than Ciera, so I wonder if that might give us a few more points to work with.

Uh, Sheila hit is gonna be way worse than anything Ciera or Cyra has. Cyra could get Slim Sword, but would need to shenanigans a Leo blessing in there which might be possible would need to look at map. She has, what, 5 more hit than Ciera? Getting a longbow is technically possible but highly unlikely and would probably require too many resources being dedicated to it to be feasible this time around. I dunno.

First things first above all else: I negate my action for now.

This above all else needs to happen. Here's the thing. If he hits and crits (which is possible) game over, nothing more needs to be done. He has about a 24% chance of hitting, and decent crit chances as well. But we may as well try it, especially since it drops him down to where peeps can start one shotting him
