It's not like there isn't precedent for sympathetic enemies we're forced to kill in FE at large, however. Selena the Flourspar and that one Caelin General spring to mind.

That's fine and all, but I'm going off of past scenarios in FEF, not FE. The GMs (writers) for the FE games were not ours.

...the only thing I can think of is if we find a Thief staff in one of those chests. Then Leo could, conceivably, steal the crossbow from Morwen. There's no way to influence her movements, we have no Bishop to trap her with, and paralyzing or putting her to sleep will only delay getting that crossbow broken. If there's no Thief staff I don't see another way to get the job done, and even with a Thief staff Haspen could arbitrarily decree Morwen's crossbow steal-proof.

Can't put her to sleep, she's immune. Also Hasp straight up said that we needed to kill her to end the map.

I'm thinking that all we have to do is kill everyone but Morwen. At that point, either reinforcements show up or we talk her into the futility of the situation. Tanking 19 hits would be difficult, but 3-7 isn't nearly as bad. We've got ample healing here as well.

Either way, I remain unable to believe Haspen would be this sadistic and will play accordingly. Even if that means going against plan.

And like I said, Hasp literally straight out told us that we needed to kill Morwen for the map to end. End of story.

Why not send Leo over to tank? Dude can easily regen any damage he takes by equipping a heal staff and can't counter, plus Grifen and Ram can cover for his healing for awhile. It's basically like dropping an adamantium wall in front of her.

If she walks around Leo though, she could go after Sepin and we'd fail the secondary objective. We need to completely trap her and we lack the tanks to do that.
