By-the-seat-of-my-pants plan: Really depends if we want to kill the boss now or later. I'm going to assume the former.

Grifen shoots the White Mage. Cantoes elsewhere. Probably 11,6 due to supports.
Miguel lances the spearman. Holds.
Sonja heads to 10,6 and blasts the same spearman.
Efa heads to the (hopefully ded) spearman and Longbow's the boss. (Atrocious hit chance as per usual, but hey, free shot)
Sheila struts right up to the boss at 11,3 and takes a shot with her Killer Axe. If Efa hit before and Sheila hits, or if Sheila crits, map's over. Otherwise...

If Sheila got ded:
Leo to 10,3 provided the White Mage is ded. Heal Julius.
Candy to 9,4. Dance Leo and Miguel.
Leo heals Sheila.
Alec heads to 11,4. Refreshes Sheila, Julius and Efa.
Round 2 at taking the boss down, etc etc.

If Sheila's alive:
Something else.

Still thinking it out more thoroughly, but it's as much as I can do now.

Try to leave 11,6 open. If I canto there after shooting the white mage, Sheila will get some bonus crit that should make one-shotting the boss more feasible.

As a side note, Miguel gets a crit bonus being near an ally on horseback. Which would be Grifen in this case. : P

But Grifen isn't near. Miguel will not taste the sweet elixir of bonus crits today.

Casual reminder that the map does not end when the boss dies. After that, we must perform the lootening, then go up the stairs for the next portion of the map.

In any case, not entirely sure how best to proceed from here, but it can't be that hard _{I say before we all get wiped} Between Sheila, Efa, Julius and Miguel we should be able to take the boss down.

But, I'd rather not down Miguel this round without having to since he'll be doubled easily. On the other hand, I have no problem with him tanking a few hits against the guys who are coming in. We'll be wanting that treasure so preemptive violence is an option here.

Okay, the main goal this phase is to clear out the mooks so Julius can get to looting, while also minimizing risks of additional people getting wrecked and slowing us down.

Candy to 12,3 and dance Leo and Julius

Sheila to 12,4
Sonja to 12,6
Alec to 12,5, perform for Efa, Sheila and Sonja.
Efa to 13,7, attack crossbowman
Sonja to 14,7 attack crossbowman, 14,6 and definitely not sit in the reflecting pool that I totally didn't mistake for carpet. Like at all.

Substractive level ups. Each time a chapter takes more than 2 months, I de-roll a level worth of stats for all player characters in the game.

We will see how that works as a motivation! v:
