Well, if things go wrong we quit fast-forwarding, obviously :P

Gonna try something so we don't necessarily take 4 turns.
I wonder if the Nightmare Axe would break the turning mechanism for your platform.

It does "Warp terrain", whatever that means. If AXE doesn't work, I'd try it- except the platform would no longer be where I need it.

Not too eager to try that thing out unless I have people with proper healing on standby.

I'm more wondering how we're suppose to get back across if we didn't leave anyone by the lever.

I thought we determined some time ago that Miguella was gonna hang out by the lever due to selflessness and definitely not an entirely sensible aversion to the Platforms of Death.

Candy volunteered to stay and pull the lever, so that shouldn't be a problem. Not like he can dance for us at the moment anyway.

Later historians will note that Miguella forgot the whole incident where she said that she would push the lever. Stating, "HOOHOOHOOooo! I forgot the lever in all the excitement!"

Here's my question: what happens if we kill all the gargoyles, thus their access to the lever, and wait? I'm not recommending this plan, but I like thought exercises and what-ifs, so I'm curious as to what they would do if in that situation.

How could they get across? Magic? Other minions? Before, they could just tell someone to go pull the levers for them, but, well, they're kinda dead. Then again, I think I recall a ritual of some kind that we're interrupting, so I figure they'll probably just finish that and it wouldn't matter.

Maybe there's a secondary lever hidden somewhere on the other side though, otherwise its like a front door that locks on the outside. Mostly just bored musings that I've been pondering.

Yeah, the lever is oddly placed. Also yeah, we were interrupting some ritual that had to do with un-death or something.

Also also, I wonder if there's some way to deal with the bosses that doesn't involve dream-murder. They both seem to be willing to do anything for the other, based on what they've been saying. Not saying that them being in love makes them not evil, but maybe there's a way to solve it?

Or I could be entirely wrong.

I'm sure there's something. We just have to get closer first, probably.

I just think about these things in my down time, a habit I picked up from rabid world building: does it make sense? How does it interact with other things? Etc. I find it pretty fun. Really though, all of these could be solved with a simple answer of it being a dream, but I find the speculation more interesting.

As for that, I'm not sure. Originally I figured she was tricking him into being evil, but their relevant banter showed that they're both aware they aren't the good guys, or at least have a very twisted view of what good is, considering his prior question about their morality.
