Main empire... It's so militaristic that nobles' dresscode includes military uniform for parties, and soldiers wear black uniforms even when they take off their on duty armors.

Even secret informers and civilian administrators wear black, emperor-approved uniforms. This happens when a woman gets on the throne and starts pulling reforms

This is also good for me to know, considering Miguel admired the Knights of Troy for a long time, even after the invasion. It probably helps that Garaz got off pretty easy in comparison to other regions. Hell, I would wager to bet that some aspects of Garaz were improved after the invasion.

EDIT: Oh yes, the reason for the (/RES) is that I'm fairly sure the handbook meant that you gain both and/or whichever one applies, for personal skills. That's what the Dragon Flute and general format they use seems to imply, anyway. They use the Slashes for 'and' when dealing with stats, I think, not 'or'.

Doublepost, buuuuuuttt...

I want to make either Ultima Tank at some point, or get someone to be part of an Invincible Pair.

Ultima Tank: Just a Monk->Hold Guard with high Strength, Defense, and Resistance. And Guard, of course.

Invincible Pair: Knight->General with really high Skill, Speed, and Defense, maybe some Resistance, and good HP and STR, with Guard. Buddy is Monk->Holy Guard with high Strength, Speed, and Resistance, maybe some Defense, and good HP and MAG, who also has Guard(and uses Ward magic, of course). They stick close together, Guard each other from the attack types the other can't weather, and just push through. Healer helps for the minor amounts of damage that will accrue.

Role, you want the fem!Cabel mug with the helmet you asked me to make? Bit (very) late but since you're playing a knight you might like it. Not too happy with the shading and the color could use a bit of work, bit I think the form is right.

Whether you do or don't though, it will have to wait until the 31st.

That'd be great, actually. I was thinking of doing the sprite myself since I'd been considering changing how (s)he looked, and I wasn't too sure how well the character concept worked for the bio if they were female, but a helmet sprite would be great in any case.

I can recolor it if needed anyway, since apparently Troians wear black armor.

The background, by the way, is along the lines of Cabel being super-loyal to Troi and being raised on the principles of it when it was less terrible and shit, and when he learned of the massacre six years ago or so he quit because "This isn't the real Troi. Not anymore." So did some of his buddies, but in those six years (s)he's the only still alive, working as a mercenary. Still very proud of being Troian, still very much loyal to Troi, it's just that Troi is currently being systematically destroyed by the current Emperor's ineptitude. I might change/give him a personal skill called "Pride of Troi" or something.

I also wanted Cabel to be introduced as an enemy unit at first, possibly given guard duty of some room with minor valuables in it along with a sword-wielder(possibly equipped with an Armorslayer because Haspen is evil and he would be there to keep tabs on me, possibly just there for me to Pilum). But who knows.
