The switch which Miguella is now standing next to will activate the little erm... Floating platform things. They will twist Counterclockwise, likely with everyone else being along for the ride.

Blade is asking about the axe. It has the effect 'Warps terrain around its victims'. It's on Griff's sheet. ^^^

Five uses? Imma go out on a limb and guess we're meant to use that on the boss. If the next item follows that pattern, it's a five use light tome.

Either in the chest Fezzina will get, or more likely in the chest in the corner of that large room up ahead.

I've got cool facts if you want to peruse them, about what might be true in the setting. Or Haspen might have his own ideas. In any case.

The current population of the whole set of regions is somewhere around 3,000,000, and from there, we can fairly well assume a population density of around 90/sq. mi. in the habitable areas, and 83-84/sq. mi. overall. (About 21 ppl per pixel of land, and pop. density in middle ages ranged from 30(in Scotland) to 100+(in France), and Germany was about 90 or so.)

On the world map he showed, the entire picture is about 331x270 miles, and there's about 36,000 sq. miles of land area. Which means this little archipelago set is a little bigger than Ireland, and a little smaller than Iceland. When taken altogether, that is. For a better comparison, perhaps, the Troian Empire is approximately as large as Portugal. The largest landmass is about the size of Devon Island, maybe a little smaller. The second largest is perhaps the size of Sicily. And Kretos might be about as large as Puerto Rico.

Just so you know. :p

If you flip FEF1 map horizontally it looks almost like Iberian peninsula, which is the size for this continent I had in mind :P

It's one of these miniature island-continents you find in many games, not the actual huge mainland continent.

Weeeeelll...

It's a little smaller than Iberia...:p

But yeah, that's what I figured. Just like to put perspective on things; the great Troian Empire would get crushed if the mainlanders decided to take a look over here.

But then again, it might be larger, if population is higher (I used .5% growth rate since 141 to get the pop., going off of general medeival averages. even a bit high for that you could say), or smaller, if pop is smaller. And that was assuming all of the landmass is considered to be under Troian control/affiliates.

You can fairly assume that's all that is between Setine and Riem is wildland with occassional hunting camp/woodcutter's outpost at outskirts (that's why Matilda booked a ship to Riem instead of taking a stroll by the coast).

Most of the affiliates are agricultural; the highest ubranization is in Troian Empire and Kretos. Affiliates don't have many cities - these are shown on the map - and only a handful of smaller towns. The rest are clusters of agricultural settlements. Port Eastway is an exception - it's a busy trading/maritime port but not a huge city, and was plopped on map only due to its naval importance.

Plus you have two vaguely large, non-inhabited areas; the greyish island and wasteland swamp, with the latter spewing toxic mist and monsters, two reasons for which you don't really settle near it until you really have to.

But yeah - FEF1/FEF2 landmass ain't huge by any degree :P

What is Garaz like, if I may ask? It might be know to have a bit off background information since my character hails from that region.

A middle point between pretty agricultural Masalla/Syra and industrialized Kretos.

Garaz concentrates on crafts, art and trade. Noblemen all over the archipelago fancy some prized glasswork and paintings and clothes and jewellery coming from Garazian workshops :P
