;-;
Did the Armourslayer, three killer weapons and the one arm not tip you guys off that this map is me going "What in the book is going to make the players cry?"

No, I got that. Don't worry. Doesn't mean I won't fake cry about it when given the opportunity. :P

@Role: Mind you, that's total damage, or rather a close approximate. No matter the enemy's RES, they're taking that damage.

Yah, but to get to where it's happening 90% of the time, you need ~60% progression in STR(and that's if you start as a Trainee), and even then it needs lucky rolls to be sooner than 5/20/20. By which point, how much difference is 13 damage really making, when I have access to Dulam or S-rank Druid Magic?(effective damage against everything in two tomes...) Imhullu and Balberith make the whole deal something of a moot point. I'm thinkin' it might be better to simply put that progression in SKL, MAG, and HP. If I still want recovery, get Renewal, or take Charisma to boost both my allies and my Phantoms, or Blossom for stats, or Discipline to have "Dark Magic (S)(yes, really)".

I don't know. Bleh. At that point he would be regaining 30 HP every turn, I suppose. Which is pretty ridiculous. So many options...

You do have a point. Imbue and Center are cost skills in disguise really, except you will probably be paying more for them then an actual cost skill. Its nice, but it does lose its kick after a bit. Really, the monks seem the best mage skill because that combined with good def or res equals absolute bullshit defenses.

You can at least possibly make a Str oriented mage at with Mage knight. It allows you to use Str on tomes. Its a build that will suck until you promote though, but its a thing. If I ever get in a game as a promoted class, I'll probably give that a spin for laughs, but I would not want to go through the painful phase of first class.

Shaman's skill is kinda underwhelming (sorta, its still good), but their awesome magic and promotes more than makes up for it.

Alright. Making Cabel. 80% HP Growth just barely hits the cap at level 40. But I'm wondering if I should drop 10% or so to put in RES or SKL.

In what order are STR, SKL, and SPD important to a tank? And how much do you think I'll have to tank hits from mages?

I think tankiness is mutually exclusive with evading :P

@SPD: Fire Emblem God Stat. If you can avoid getting doubled your ability to tank sky rockets like you wouldn't believe.

@SKL: You want a decent rate, how much depending on the weapons you plan to use. Sal gets away with average SKL at high levels through a Hit PS.

@STR: Depends on what weapons you want to use. Axes, crush swords, pole arms? Not as much. Nice to have though.

@Mages: More than you would think. Pure water is your friend.

SPD, SKL, STR or SKL, SPD, STR if you are going general. SPD help with dodging the attack in the first place and not getting doubled. SKL so you can make foes pay for attacking you and str is really just a bonus.

It certainly isn't. That's the idea behind a myrmidon build I want to make.

Well, currently, growth rates are as follows:
HP - 80%; results in 60 HP at level 40, avg.
STR - 50%; results in 28 STR at level 40, avg.
MAG - 0%
SKL - 45%; results in 21 SKL at level 40, avg.
LCK - 10%; results in 5 LCK at level 40, avg.
DEF - 45%; results in 29 DEF at level 40, avg.
RES - 60%; results in 24 RES at level 40, avg.
SPD - 40%; results in 20 SPD at level 40, avg.

This isn't full on tank, which I could certainly go for, by giving up some offensive ability. The 'at level 40' doesn't count the 4 extra points to distribute, and this doesn't count the 5% extra to spend on promoting.

Never, ever, ever assume averages when it comes to level-up rolls. Sometimes the dice will troll you to no end. Other times a stat that you gave low priority increases every level. There is no telling what could happen :P

For instance: My troub has 25 STR growth and something like 50 MAG growth. She's gained almost equal amounts of the two.

And Sal's RES and SPD rose as much, if not higher than his SKL. Despite the two being 30% and the one being 50%. Averages are good to make guesses with, but in the end they're guesses.

Yah. How common are Armorslayer and Horsekiller weapons, typically?
