The great thing about playing a minor character is you don't have to be around a lot (just enough to say something funny).

I guess so. I might as well too, get used to this whole 'never being around when people are posting' thing. >.<

As much as I would want to stamp blue and red stamps due to improper formatting, that kind of trolling was reserved only for Tart, so... let's check what else I can deny-stamp you C:

Hmm.

*TEMPORARILY DENIED*
=DENIAL REASON: ERRORENOUS PREFERRED STATS=
=DENIAL REASON: NEGLIGIBLE PERSONAL SKILL=

As a Cavalier, your pref.stats can be one of these: STR+SPD or SKL+SPD. Dunno where you got that DEF from.
Also, you have to fix that second Personal Skill. I mean, you want 2 exp every 8-10 chapters? Not to mention people here prefer selling old weapons before they run out.

Oh and turns out that Dwarmin, CE and Rolepgeek are all interested in playing.

FEF2 cast will have 16 characters, woo.

Shuttlecock! And I thought I was close to sneaking in.

However, what you ask is reasonable, especially in regards to Broken Lances. That was mostly a not so subtle joke that came from the lack of imagination on my part. So! I shall make adjustments once more!

EDITED:

Alright, here is a version that is a tad more cleaned up. While I still want his DEF to be higher than average, it's no longer considered one of his leading stats. STR and SPD both take point on that one. I also siphoned a few points here or there to make him now quite so slow.

His new ability is still relatively fitting, although much less useless. It reflects his old, but skilled nature.

Considering we have two other horse-riders, that ability oughta come in handy.

I can almost see it being a bit too handy in hindsight. That's a fairly dangerous bonus, especially if we ever become stuck in close quarters where it will likely always be proccing. That said, they have to be on horseback.

What I like though, is that he is pretty bad at rescuing people and getting out of fights due to his age. He gets into combat easily enough, but he's absolutely terrible at getting out of it. Lord help him if there is ever a situation where he has to dismount, as he is going to be as slow as real knight with the added bonus of being able to sprint once before becoming tired.

I'm probably going to packing extra vulnerarys to compensate. Old men need to take their medicine.

Don't worry; it's probably not going to be a major deal.  It doesn't overpower the support bonuses it's most similar to, and it's definitely going to be helpful given the types of enemies we tend to face in Haspen games (large numbers, powerful, all-around dangerous armies).  Plus, it's always funny to watch a crit-build one-shot the chapter boss.  ^_^

If it helps, the very nature of PBP games means that you don't have to be online exactly when other people are in order to play or RP. Sure it helps, but since it looks like we'll have quite a bit of time to get back into the swing of things while FEF1 winds down you won't be hurt quite as much as you would be if the game was moving at a faster pace.

So try to have some fun, ok? :)

The great thing about playing a minor character is you don't have to be around a lot (just enough to say something funny).

See, the minor characters I like, are the characters who are minor, but are interesting enough that you care about them. It's not necessarily just trying to be entertaining. For instance... Take Dolza from FE: Sacred Stones. He had one job. That job was to be the jolliest berserker/personal princess guard that the world has ever seen. And he was delightful. ^.^

He was interesting in that he was potentially ignorant and shallow-minded, but he knew what really counted in the world and that's what made him, him. He's a grown man with the soul of a child and loving every minute of it.
