I honestly haven't put thought into how Roderic looks like... If anyone can come up with something good looking, then that would be really cool!

Some stuff I would like: Slightly tanned, clean shaven, dark brown hair and maybe some kind of armour or scarf? What does a duellist typically wear??

Duelists tend to wear whatever, defined by where they lived and the period of time they're in. Even then, really, I wouldn't say they had a typical outfit. Maybe a light shirt of chain, leather, clothes? Noble-styled clothing?
