A it is then. Also, man the guy's head I'm using for Fezz is so tiny. It really limits my options. Time to make a Fezz that doesn't shout 'hey inquisitor, heretic here, come burn me 'cause I use magic frivolously and like to flaunt that with flowing robes that offer no to minimal road travel protection and no one in their right mind would wear!'

I'm noting a distinct lack of melee classes that aren't flyers as well as a lack of horsemen! As such, I'll be either a Shadow Sword or a Duke Knight, depending on what kind of characters are going to join and if we are going to be fighting indoors a lot. If we fight indoors a lot, then I'll take Shadow Sword (and possibly Ancient Magic with it for sick debuffs), but otherwise I'll go for the Duke Knight.

It was an old list that's being referenced, it was only just updated and you weren't around when it was made. It's largely 'fan made' to allow for better diversification within the game, nothing official, it's so not too many toes are stepped on. I understand the need for it, but I'm weird in that I'd find it hilariously awesome if we all just said 'fuck it, let's all be pegasus riders/archers/cavaliers/axemen/mages' or something even though that wouldn't necessarily be optimal.

My problem is how my mage trainee, decides to abandon anima completley, / why she didn't just start out as a dark user, also I am thinking dissaproving parents (she should get a sword not pans arround with magic damnit) but maybe not it sounds kinda stereotypical

Dark rituals that taint your magic? Criptfeind's guy almost did that in FEF but Cript went away.
That or you might wait until the Prologue people become First Classes; the new people will be joining as First Classes so you can be outright shaman.

I got my PF as a penalty vs monks at the moment, but I wonder how a PF to being in (strong) sunlight would work?
