The Smoker moves first though. So yeah, you were next to him but then he was moved so you moved, then he was moved, so you moved.

Now that I think about it maybe I should change how infected work when its the survivors turn. Hm...

Usually true. EXCEPT in the case of Frenzy. They attack once per tick on the survivors turn. Then they attack twice on the infected turn [actually lowering their damage out-put oddly enough...]

Jeffery watched the unfolding events almost in slow motion. He saw as a large mob of infected attempted to drag Ugly Jim into the smoke. Jeffrey didn’t know what that would mean but he highly doubted it would be good. Throwing his entire weight into a shove he managed to dislodged several infected’s grip on Ugly Jim.

Running over to Ugly Jim Jeffrey tried to help him to his feet but saw the infected approaching, vaguely, through the smoke. A split second decision found Jeffrey dragging the much larger Ugly Jim away from the smoke. ‘At the very least this will keep them from killing him outright. He seems fine other than the punching.’

“AGH!” a voice cried out.

Looking up Jeffrey saw what happened almost instantly despite having missed it. Apparently Damon had decided to make up for his earlier burning of Jim by fighting off the horde. Unfortunately he was covered in more bile (Though from where Jeffrey couldn’t really guess) and was only throwing himself into danger. A small horde of infected were currently stomping and punching and scratching the poor boy who tried desperately to fight them off.

A crack of a rifle sounded as a large number of that horde dropped. No doubt Ali’s work as she’d been trying desperately to reload her rifle last he checked while Clair was doing her best to whip what remained of the bile from her eyes.

“No! NO!” Another voice sounded out snapping Jeffrey out of his reverie.

Apparently the combined firepower of Melody and Ali wasn’t enough to get rid of the horde. Especially not before they took a huge chunk out of Mark. Thankfully he still managed to stand up.

“Damn…” Jeffrey muttered to himself though to the others, had they been listening, it would have been nothing but a raspy sigh of frustration.

Unfortunately it didn’t look like the survivors were out of the woods yet. Several more infected surged from the smoke. Thought thankfully the smoke was clearing as, it appeared, was the horde.

‘Only a little longer guys! Only a little longer.’ Jeffrey found himself thinking desperately.

… For the Infected. Luckily Ali just took out ¼ of the horde there so you only have a little bit left. Plus three REALLY injured people and a man who is almost dead.

I noticed something that I’m gonna bring up once this horde thing is taken care of.
