“Damnit Jeff I don’t need healed.” Damon said as he dodged around the older mute male who appeared quite cross at the dance they had been performing for several moments now.

Jeffrey was about to give up until he saw Damon stumble. Walking forward he presented the kit to Damon.

“No dude. I’m fine. Just a little blood loss. I’ll make more.”

Jeffrey shook his head as he watched Damon stumble slightly more before falling on his ass. [You’re doing your best. I can appreciate that. But you’re being a liability like this. Just accept the kit.]

Whether Damon understood the mute man’s signage was irrelevant as he no longer attempted to dodge away from Jeffrey’s healing hands.

After the young man was healed he paused for a second “Hey… Thanks Jeff. You’re a good guy.”

Jeffrey simply shrugged. Despite his earlier threat on Damon’s life he really did like the kid despite his rough edges. Maybe it was because he had already seen so many die. More likely, Jeffrey reflected, it was because Damon reminded Jeffrey a lot of himself when he had been younger. Except for the whole being emotionally dead and sort of a jerk there were a lot of similarities.

Also I’m nerfing the Chainsaw pretty hard. Having 15 get out of Jail free cards is too much. The new cap is “7” which is still a lot but still…

Chainsaw needed the nerf, really. I, for one, am fine with it. I can find others later anyway.

And I still have my explosive flamethrower which deals [275 or 350] damage to first row, somewhere between 375 to 475 to second row, and between 225 to 350 damage to the third row.

Unfortunately, this moderate-high amount of damage to a close-in area will only be useful if we encounter a horde of infected between Specials and Common..common auto-die anyway to flamethrower, and specials are typically by themselves/tougher than this is handy to kill.

Melody glanced back at her haven, aware that soon she'd be out in the open and away from its safety. She knew there were endless hordes of infected people out there and relished the thought of getting to kill more of them. But a lump formed in her throat when she thought about the one thing she didn't want to meet: the crying ones. She'd wrestle with a Gorilla...Tank before she'd get near one of the crying ones. The hastily wiped a few stray tears away and pushed forward.

"These bastards are gonna pay for what they did to you." She muttered to herself.

Well, the first one motly depends on whether explosive damage goes diagonally or not, the others depend on positioning and how the flamethrower template is(as well as the diagonal thing)
