Ali watched in a near panic as Jeffrey dove to the ground and began picking Damon up. He seemed to be… not quite there.

“Jeffrey?”

“Ahhhh! Muahhhh!” The veteran attempted to scream back.

“Fire! I AM ON FIRE!” Melody screamed as she continued attempting to roll out the flames.

“Oh right! Sorry, forgot!”

“PUT THEM OUT YOU MORON!”

“Hey, there’s no need for that…” Ali said with a scowl as she attempted, successfully, to pat out the flames… somehow.

“You did this to me…”

“That’s… A good point…” Ali admitted as she reached down to pick Melody up.

Taking her adversaries hand Melody slowly got to her feet.

“Hey, look at it this way Melody…” Damon said as he turned away from the prone Jeffrey who appeared to be calling someone on a radio of some sort.

“What is it Damon?”

“You looked pre-“

“If you say I looked hot I will set you ablaze.”

“Pre-e-e-e-e-e… Um…” Damon floundered for a moment “Pretty badass?”

“… I’ll accept it.”

“I hate to be a downer, but we’re all DYING OVER HERE!” Clair yelled.
