“Ahhh, just in time.” Melody said with a smile as she finished bandaging herself off.

“Feeling better then?” Ali asked the young leather clad woman as she herself grabbed a package of incendiary ammo.

“Yeah… I do.” Melody sighed. She hoped they could find a safe-room soon. The way this trip had been going they were gonna need it.

“JOCKEY!” Came a cry from outside, that sounded a lot like Damon, followed by the revving of a chainsaw.

“Shit!” Ali and Melody said in unison as they ran from the side room towards the front door. The sight that greeted them wasn’t a happy one.

Damon was standing in a glowing green puddle of acid as bullets wizzed past him from an unknown source, either Mark or Clair judging by the prescense of Ugly Jim and Jeffrey in the door frame, and as that wasn’t bad enough the two girls saw a Jockey soar towards Damon.

With a smile Damon whirled out of the way of the Jockey and pressed the Chainsaw’s still blades upon its face. Almost as if surprised by the nimbleness of the survivor the Jockey made no movements. “When you get to hell…. Tell ‘em I sent ya.” Damon quipped as his chainsaw roared to life cutting the Jockey’s already malformed face into a mere pile of rags and giggling meat.

Thankfully for the person the Jockey used to be a rifle shot cracked off and finised off the pile. Ali simply shook her head. “Where did the Spitter go?”

“Around the corner!” Damon shouted as he brooded on the fact that the Jockey survived. That had been a grade A+ quip. Why didn’t anything die when he did quips?

Another rifle shot sounded off followed by more laughter. This variety coming from their insane comrade “You’re over your credit limit bitch!”

“Charger!” Ugly Jim cried out as he readied his shotgun only to stop at the last minute. If he fired he knew that the truck beside the group would explode possibly killing the whole group.

“And a Gorrilla!” Clair laughed aloud as she jumped and dodged around the Charger’s clumsy attempts to grab her.

“What!? Here?” Ugly Jim shouted in surprise.

“He doesn’t see us. I glimpsed him through the middle of the truck. He’s just sitting there.  Ooh! That was close!” Clair said happily as she kicked the Charger in the stomach in an effort to shove him away. Unfortunately it didn’t work.
