“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Won’t you overdose or something and die?”

“Oh, no. It wasn’t full… It only had like… Three in there.”

“Then why keep the bottle?”

“I liked the clinking noise it made.”

Ali nodded in assent to this as she walked along with Mark, while donning his offered jacket though she couldn’t see why he’d offer, to catch up with Jeffrey.

“Hey guys, guess what I found.” Damon’s voice came from the closet.

“What?”

“Shock paddles! They can come in hand-“ Damon seemed to be in severe pain for a few seconds before he finished his sentence “Handy just in case. God I hope we find a health kit.”

“In a cavern in a canyon excavated for a mine…” Damon sang to himself softly as he attempted, fruitlessly, to ignore the pain he was in.

“So… Next door heh?” Ali asked as she gestured towards the door that Ugly Jim was beside. They had been standing here for several moments as Jim simply stared at the door.

“Think there might be another one of those… Tanks?” Ugly Jim asked as he tried to remember what, if anything, the group had decided to call the large infected.

“Monkey man? No, I doubt it. There’s no blood over here, the door’s intact, AND we’re not hearing any roars.” Clair replied though she was actually just translating Jeffrey’s words for the group.

“Hm… Okay, here we go.” Jim said as he opened the door. It was with a sigh of relief that he put down one of the closer infected. While he still had to fight off the urge to cry for the poor people he was relieved that his new friends weren’t in any immediate danger. With Mark and Damon the way they were Jim knew he would rather murder over fifty three thousand of these ‘commons’ than fight another Tank.

[It’s weird how they seem to ignore us so often…] Jeffrey signed to Clair who chuckled.

“They’re probably too far gone to recognize anyone other than something covered in vomit.”

[Vomit?]

“Yeah, there are fat ones. Damon calls them Boomers. I guess because they blow up when you shoot them. I prefer the name Tubbys.” She said with a shrug.

“Hear that? Some specials are creeping around out there…” Mark stated as the group listened for a moment, weapons held ready for a charge that never occurred from the commons.

“Deep and a higher pitch… So…”

“Charger or Fat-ass.”

“Boomer…” Damon corrected Mark.

“Whatever man. The point is that they’re not in this room so keep an eye on those doors.”

So I’ve decided to update on a MWF-ASAP schedule to make sure I actually update. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are the only days I’ll update now. I’ll be doing it as soon as I get everything in. Hopefully having a structure of some sort will prevent me from slacking off.
