“Is it just me or are these infected getting dumber?” Damon asked as he blasted the Spitter into oblivion after Jim had weakened it.

“I think it was desperate. There was nowhere it could go. All the doors around here are barricaded.” Jim said with a sigh. Looked like they’d be heading backwards.

“Wait… is that a saferoom?”

“Huh?”

Looking towards where Damon was pointing Jim saw the Saferoom door. It looked hastily constructed of a large number of concrete barriers piled together as well as a couple tanks (Vehicle) as reinforcement. It likely wouldn’t be the best place to live, but it looked sturdy enough that even Tank (Infected) couldn’t knock it down, if the Tank (Infected) body on one of the closest Tank (Vehicle). What fortune!

“Yes! A lot! One for each of us!!!” Jim shouted back with a wild smile “And a bunch of weapons! We’ll make it through this yet kiddos!”
