Alice froze, she opened her mouth again but nothing came out.

"Oh. She has that old disease then? I remember back, oh... how many years has it been. A century... ten centuries... Anyways, they found a cure for it. Oh, by they I mean the Begualsa. That's what she is by the way. I have a few stored in my gallery. They were dying of the same disease. Now... what was that plant again... It was only found in a very remote location on their planet. What was it called...?" Grandiose seems to be lost in thought.

"Ah! I remember, it was called Jegana. It's a tall fern-like plant with huge razor sharp thorns on it. The thorns are what you want. They have to be injected into the infected area." Grandiose smiles as an artist would.

Grandi would also know that it would worsen any disease other than the one Winry's suffering.

He probably also knows that it makes a great pearl-like paint that shines and sparkles like excellence. Probably why he knew about it in the first place. The stuff is pretty expensive.

Grandiose finds himself in a desolate barren desert with a dry red soil--the sky is purple and a strange fog obscures much of the horizon. The air seems to contain little Oxygen.
In front of him is an oasis with tall trees made out of a strange wood and purple leaves and a small pool of water inside purple grass. Coasting the water are the herbs.

 "Uak'un tan yua makk?" asks an old feminine voice beside him. A tall alien looking like Winry but much taller than her is standing next to her with grey fur. She has long think attenas which go down her body, much like Winry.

Grandiose, being the being he is, converses with her easily. Replicating one's language is as simple as painting a copy of the Mona Lisa.  "I'm sorry, but these Jeganai are close to dead and thus unusable--pollution from the factories to the west are getting in the desert. Our people are in tough times--you could try looking for an unpolluted Jegana."
