Lizzie slowly nods.

Rose sighs and suddenly stands up, still looking firmly at the table as she speaks. "I'm s-sorry. You shouldn't have to listen to me like this." She quickly turns to leave, dragging her feet outside to mope some more.

 "Best friend, let us do something," she says to ICARUS.

Rose goes and mopes around outside then, just sitting against a nearby tree and occassionally crying quietly to herself.

Lizzie, against her better judgement, walks outside and quietly approaches Rose. She kneels down and hugs her.

"What do you have in mind?"

Rose doesn't return the hug. But neither does she push Lizzie away. "I'm sorry," she whispers.

"I dunno', we could go scuba diving, or try to go to space."

"But... I k-know how terrible I'm acting, and I c-can't do anything to change it."

"Wait, you need SCUBA gear to dive? Hehe, sure, why not pick up some food while we head there?"

 "Scuba gear is for wimps. I say we just fly around while I'm a jet and sky dive in the ocean. Inside the Mariana Trench; us inorganics can handle such a thing."
"You can't change who you are. I don't mind how you act." she softly says, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"No, I am not built for such high pressure environments actually. That stuff is really deep. Anything deeper than 500 meters will be a potential danger for my integrity, the mariana trench is more or less guaranteed to smash my fusion reactor, cause a nuclear blast at the bottom of the ocean and thus start a small tsunami rolling over okinawa. I am not sure if this is what you usualy do as a hobby, but I a not keen on it."

"You can't change who you are. I don't mind how you act." she softly says, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"I wish I could... It's just too much f-for me... I feel like I've been cast adrift and there's no shore in sight. It's just... completely hopeless."
