Considering that we have no alternative of getting to him, we must be ready for combat."

<Just asking the gods to please solve the problem for us is not the simple solution, it's the cowards solution. And most importantly, is less likely to accomplish anything than trying it ourselves. This sick fuck has cursed hundreds, thousands of people, for hundreds of years. These poor tortured souls have likely sent more than one prayer to their gods - and went unheared. If the gods wanted this to end, they would have ended it long ago. If you want to help, then use the skills that you have. Try and build sensor glasses or something, that can see through illusions. Don't just go "well, lets pray for it to be solved". The gods help those that help themselves. Alice came here looking for help. And I will provide it. Are you going to abandon her, just because some else might be better suited to help her?>

Rose smiles back and then continues hesitantly.

T-they weren't p-prepared for s-something t-that old. And important. But t-they'll b-be r-restarting the dig soon, w-with more equipment and p-people. T-they've n-never... Um... Rose and Filipov talk in Russian for several seconds, the professor trying to get his point across with elaborate hand gestures. Eventually Rose seems to understand it. "H-he s-says that h-he thinks t-that the p-people who m-made it used it f-for astrology. F-for looking at the s-stars to k-know w-when to p-plant or t-tell f-fortunes and t-things like t-that. T-the p-professor also t-thinks that... actual m-magic w-was p-preformed in t-that place too, and t-that the r-reason he f-found it was t-that m-magic has returned to the w-world."

Rose pauses for a moment as she listens to Filipov again. "It's h-hard to explain. B-but he t-thinks that t-the r-runes and t-that place and V-Veles are all interconnected w-with each other s-somehow. So... H-he w-wants m-me to s-see the d-digsite w-when they s-start d-digging again. Um... N-nothing w-will probably happen, b-but having m-me there in p-person could b-be useful anyways. Alice nodded along as Rose spoke, giving an encouraging smile each time she was having trouble translating something. When she had finished Alice spoke
"That... That sounds brilliant, you... you have a... a real chance now" she paused for a moment "Do... Do you know when... when they will... will start digging again?"

<And alone. Refusing to help Alice just because there is danger involved is horrible. It's okay to be afraid. You don't have to face Zhengara if you can not calm your soul. But at the very least, use that truely formidable skill that you have, this exceptional gift, to help those that are facing him. You can make sensors, right?>
