The Order do practically walk out due to having diplomatic immunity (They did go through proper channels and they are saying that any mass killings that happen were due to a rogue branch of the Order. Yes, they are pulling politics.). The paladin does stay long enough to further state this, and then promptly leaves.

The bikers call them on their bullshit as they leave, but don't do much else. They can't legally go after them right now without risking being charged with murder and being shut down.

And if they get shut down, they can't piss with the Order. Which is bad.
