All he sees though in actuality is a closed door as nobody has invited him in yet. I'm going to assume by some shenanigans the door opens by itself or something and Merrick walks though and sees a girl high fiving a robot. "Awesome."

Alice paused as she saw the sheer amount of apples and a thought struck her.

Alice looked towards Merrick at the sound of his voice

Merrick looks a bit confused, "Why not? You just sorta grab my hand and move up and down like this." He grabs his hand with his other hand and moves it up and down, chuckling as he did so. Upon ICARUS talking, Merrick flips out again, "Oh my god, it talks fluidly too?" He looks in awe at ICARUS.

IN the backgroundn of Merrick existing, Marie  has turned into a creepy chibi marching band and is being a creepy chibi marching band with a disturbing amount of cartoonish floating heads.
