Alucard begins to bring the blowtorch over to the jar before the blue-green essence within it wriggles around.
 "This is strange."
Lunette would detect a higher mana suddenly rushing through the essence within the jar, as if something sentient was inside of it. The essence continued to wriggle about, splashing slightly about the glass jar.

"...leave me alone..." a raspy and forlorn voice spoke from the jar.

Lunette tells Alucard about what she detected, but otherwise stays silent and waits to see what happens.

Alucard opens the jar and pokes the essence.

 "...Alucard... leave me be..." the eerie voice says once again shortly after Alucard touched it.
 "Not until you tell me where you are and why you're gone, Bartimaeus." Alucard says to the jar. He pokes the essence within once again.
 "...I am thinking... I wish to be alone..."
 "You know that has negative effects on me, Bartimaeus. I'm growing weak."
 "...rest, then," the essence calmly splashed around, "...I wish to be alone..." it repeated.
