ICARUS goes through the rotting and recording routine from last time. Regardless of the actual results, she keeps telling Alice that it appears to be working and getting a bit better every time, to increase her hope.

Bartimaeus starts to talk to HILDA.

 "What's up, robot girl?"
"A disgusting roach talking to me."
 "Ouch."

ICARUS goes through the rotting and recording routine from last time. Regardless of the actual results, she keeps telling Alice that it appears to be working and getting a bit better every time, to increase her hope.

Alice continued to focus on that emotion throughout the experiment, a smile coming onto her face each time ICARUS told her it was working. It wasn't though, instead of actually increasing the time took to rot something it seemed like the apples were actually rotting quicker than before.

"Hmm, interesting results, interesting. I will have to think about that for a while. Now for the next experiment, I want to check if there is any correlation to a quick heartrate, exhaustion etc. Run a few rounds around the castle please, when you feel like you are utterly exhausted, lets test some apples."

Alice nodded

"Ok, I'll... I'll do some running" Alice began to run around the castle. After a few rounds she was dripping in sweat and short of breath, she sat down in front of the robot doing her best to return to normal breathing. "Is... Is this enough"

HILDA is walking around with different clothes on; she has a pale purple silky stole wrapped gently around her neck and tied. She is wearing a blue-purple blouse which doesn't go far down below her waist, as she is so tall. She is wearing a small pair of dark leather boots.

She goes to find ICARUS and Alice.

-snip-

Lnette thinks for a moment, "I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know what to say."

"Wow, you weren't kidding." Mallory scooches a bit closer to look, "Do they like, hurt or anything?" He tilted his head to the side trying to see if he could make any sense of the symbols.

"No. They're just there. Sometimes they itch, but I think that's just me imagining things..."

Mallory can't make heads or tails of the symbols, but Rose rolls up her sleeves so that he can look at the runes on her arms anyways.

Tobias winks.

Ester blushes a lot, and then finishes disrobing and snuggles up next to Tobias in her underwear. "Um... Aren't you going to do the same?"

Still short of breath Alice spoke as she saw HILDA
"Hi Hilda"

Yes, it's a sad story. However, after many years of being a void entity you come to learn to not dwell on the past. I was still young then. I didn't know.

"You look quite exhausted. What are you two doing?"

Know not to dwell on the past. I learned in time though, and grew more accustomed to my domain's nature.

"Okay. That was a good story. You do miss her a bit though."
