ICARUS takes a look at her blade....then at the size of the monster...back to the blade...and decides the particle cannon will probably be a wiser choice than trying to melee that thing with a weapon that is physicaly unable to cut deep enough to cut this thing. ICARUS begins charging a shot from a relatively safe distance.
ICARUS also contacts the ICARUS-02 unit, stationed in the USA. It should hurry the fuck over here to torch that fucking thing.
((note on the function of the cannon, damage is [however you roll for damage on mind, + a bonus on mind depending on the mana spent on the shot. Without any charging, the factor is 0.5 (so pay 30 mana, increase your mind by 15 for the shot, so 15 extra damage. Charging increases the factor by...a yet undetermined amount))
((on a side note, consider penalties for dodging mutiple attacks, or we will have another Asariel on our hands who gets blasted by 10 attacks at once and none hit. it becomes even more ridiculous when the target is larger than a building, really.))
