Everyone continues onwards, slogging through the thick soup that is the swamp. After a while everyone feels completely bitten, wet and miserable. Yet, eventually, the swamp suddenly ends, revealing an ancient and ruined castle, with a small river babbling happily beside it.

Kyle walks into the castle in a sour mood.

"I'm getting tired of cashtlesh.."

Kyle walks into the castle in a sour mood.

Only the rusty hinges remain to mark where the door to the castle used to be, so Kyle easily enters the place. The inside of the castle is just a ruined as the outside, with the roof missing and scattered rubble lining the floor. A couple of birds have made their nest in a cranny left by a missing stone, and watch Kyle suspiciously as he enters. There's a doorway to the north and east, though without any doors in them.

"I'm getting tired of cashtlesh.."

Kelyn grumbles, "What else where you expecting to see?"

Kyle goes through the eastern door.

"Not another cashtle, that'sh what."

[Akroma]

"3 castles all within a days walk, these silly brits...Hmm..basement or the highest tower...I put my money on the basement."


Hainuwele goes to check the castles basement for grails.

Kyle goes through the eastern door.

The eastern door leads to a staircase. Or at least what used to be a staircase, for the stairs have collapsed long ago.

After several minutes of exploring ruined rooms, Hainuwele stumbles upon a set of stairs leading down. However the castle's basement is completely flooded, and she probably lacks the lung capacity to explore it.

"Not another cashtle, that'sh what."

"Where else would the holy grail be kept?"

ICARUS doesn't find any grail or grail-shaped objects in the basement. She does manage to scare a couple fish though.

Kyle and Hainuwele explore the upper stories of the castle. Or what remains of them. Unfortunately they don't mind much, besides a small pile of rusty and pitted weapons. While exploring the upper reaches, they do spy a lone figure on the banks of the river.
