Angel pauses, shocked, then hugs Meme joyfully!

"We can not retreat, the grail is in this direction. If Kelyn is correct, these creatures search for the grail too, thus are rivals. Options: Make them flee, kill them."

"Alternative option: Diplomacy. Or going around. But let's try diplomacy."

Will approaches the dog-men. "I am William Warren. Do this--" Will nods his head. "--if you can understand me."

Meme giggles happily and hugs back.

"Possible threat present. Prepping deployment of weapon projections."

The dog-men stare at each other, and loosen the axes on their belts.

Kelyn mutters, "Can we just resolve this damn thing already?"

"If they can understand us, they know why we are here, which increases their threat potential."

"ICARUS, disable paranoia unit."

"Alright. And you can speak?"

The lead one barks and starts speaking in its tongue again.

Will works on understanding the tongue, engaging the leader in conversation until he gets the hang of it.
(Shouldn't be hard; Germanic languages by definition have similar vocabularies and such as one another.)

Meme giggles happily and hugs back.

Angel lets go and runs to find Alistair.

Meanwhile, Alistair is sitting down on a chair near the toilet, pondering what Meme meant.

"Combat is my main directive. As we speak, I am running 254 different combat scenarios, based on the loosening of axes that just occured. Caution is advisory. They are our rivals, and communication is going purely in one direction. Diplomacy appears impossible."

Eventually Will learns enough about the dog-men's language to figure out what they're saying, though some words still elude him.

Kyle looks at Kelyn.

Kelyn grunts, "Of course I do. They're murders, pillagers and rapists, all of them." She spits. The head dog-man starts growling again.

Sen is intently watching the soon to be battle.

Grandiose is doing.... nothing except walking past the dog men. If they do anything he just ignores them. If he is hit by them, He laughs at them.

"Please do however tell me why you do care whether I live or die when that is of little consequence to our relations, I wish to understand that your reasons."

Lyle runs he fuck over there.
Upon his arrival, he falls over, out of breath.

Grandiose is doing.... nothing except walking past the dog men. If they do anything he just ignores them. If he is hit by them, He laughs at them.

The dog-men do swing their axes at Grandiose as he passes by, but they make no move to follow him, instead stepping to the side as a couple watch him warily.

Lyle runs he fuck over there.
Upon his arrival, he falls over, out of breath.
