ICARUS rubs to pieces of wood together as fast as only a machine can, making a fire, and lighting the fireplaces, burning parts of the old furniture, to properly light the place up.

Lyle was imagining doubles of everyone.

Lucas vaguely imagines doubles of the group, and just chuckles.
Catherine just wanders around the castle for a bit, looking for something to do.

"You say that like eldritch abomination means something to me about the person."

"They were lying to you. Definitely lying by omission about their nature, probably lying directly about their motives."

"Well, it makes it that much more likely that they will be, from a human standpoint, insane. "

Bismuth suspiciously examines the crossbow and its note.

The crossbow appears to be, well, a crossbow. Metallic bow, a stirrup to reload it, and a simple mechanism to fire.

The note is in English, and simply says, "For the brave warriors."

Catherine just wanders around the castle for a bit, looking for something to do.

The castle is very small, without much to do. At least Catherine finds an exit out.

Hainuwele inspects the tapestry.

One end of the tapestry depicts what is obviously the holy grail, held up by a crowned figure carrying a fishing pole and with a large hole in his thigh. The king is inside his castle, next to which is a green forest, where giants, knights and men with the faces of dogs seem to be fighting. On the opposite side of the tapestry is two women in blue and red inside another castle, lying down in their beds. You easily recognize the stars above Eleanor and Guinevere's castle in the tapestry, with the north star marked out with a pearl instead of a bit of white thread.

Kyle looks in the cupboards.
"Do you guys think we'll have to do the things in the tapestries?"

Also Mal continues to feel awkward. probably.
Bismuth nabs the bow and checks for any other exits to this room.
"I wouldn't be surprised, Kyle."

"I think they have every reason to lie about that given the reactions from you guys."

"Given that our reaction is based on their lack of honesty...that would be a rather poor choice on their part. I think that anyone who thinks things through would realize that we have no problem with eldritch abominations."
