When the news is turned on, those in the living room would likely overhear some rather serious news. Some sort of magical incident had happened in Brazil earlier that day, reducing nearly a mile of land to a dust-filled crater. some sort of machine was seen moving away from the crater before vanishing.

Several theories had been brought forward about the event, whether it's some sort of alien invasion again, a magic-user with a penchant for destruction, or similar, no-one knows quite what the figure is.

The only exceptional thing found was a design burned into the ground in the center of the crater.
