Anyways, does Emp understand the concept of fetching Louis whatever so we can combine his testimony with hers yet?

 Their testimonies seem to match. Louis' spell gave her enough time to try and block the blast with some still-life patterns.

"So figure out what the bomb was derived from yet?" Sen is confused by the scene.
"This blast was atomic in nature. But why so small... It should be bigger. A lot bigger..." Yomiko further examines the spot the briefcase was before it exploded.

[USEC_OFFICER]

She sighs and conjures something. "Objects like that to block it."
The pattern moves downwards diagonally before being desummoned.

"Oh." Neferis stares at the pattern before is disappears.

Tobias doesn't exactly do the yoga very well. Nor does he do it comfortable. But he presses on.

Having taken gymnastics, Ester is pretty damn flexible. She moves through the different poses with ease, or at least more ease than Tobias.

"Well Yomiko, it's actually magical in nature. And it was blocked by two different magic users. Otherwise it would be much bigger. If you want to I can take you with me while I investigate that area around here."

[Empiricist]

"This blast was atomic in nature. But why so small... It should be bigger. A lot bigger..." Yomiko further examines the spot the briefcase was before it exploded.

It's definitely the epicenter of the blast. Most of the evidence was destroyed in the detonation.

"I don't suppose you happened to see anything from where the blast went off, did you? As my friend there said, the explosion came from a man's briefcase. And as he oh-so-brilliantly slipped, said man appears to have spontaneously died about half a second before the explosion. Although I'm not entirely sure who came to that conclusion."

Marie frowns. She doesn't quite like assuming that to be the case.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"I see the gymnastics payed off~"

"Duh." Ester grins at Tobias, in a downward position, "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get more flexible if you keep working at this."

"Oi! I only said that he's dead! You're the one who said he died before the blast!"

[Twi]

"Nah, you said 'a dead man's briefcase spontaneously exploded.' Besides, of course he's dead now."

[Empiricist]

"Died before? I dunno what to make of it, I just tried to stay alive."

[Sanure]

"I know its magic. It's magic based on nuclear fusion. Look. See the shadow mark left from the man next to the epicenter? It required a lot of heat to do that." Yomiko puffs her cheeks and tries to determine if any clue was left after the detonation.

Sen just stands and listens to the group talk.

[Twi]

"I'm not blaming you. Still... Hmm."

She describes the man on the security footage, as presumably Hai shared at least some of that. (and if not, well, she could just go point the group to the desk in question. And recommend the police copy the tapes as evidence.)

"Did you see someone like that before it happened? Anything out of the ordinary at all would be helpful."
