It begins raining, not entirely unusual in Australia, the weather tended to be rather capricious after all. As the storm front wept over the house, something rather odd begins to occur: it hails. Small hail stones fell with the rain and generally ruined the day of anyone outside. A chill fills the air within a near instant as the storm suddenly strengthened. A torrent of water and hailstones alike rained upon the area, still not enough to cause damage to anything but nevertheless it is a rather ominous sight especially when sudden gusts howled through the neighborhood.

On the bright side, the weather forecast is finally right for once.
<Yes, that's definitely not foreshadowing anything at all. I have a feeling this plot will end anticlimactically, probably with something equally cliched.>
