Well, Cyrielle has quite a lot of trouble initially due to being completely unfamiliar with video games in general along with the controls. Presumably they eventually get to a case where she sees the combat system. Which is to say a dwarves having tantrums very early on.
"I think implementing a system such as this would undermine the primary storyline's light tone..."

Kyle leans over Cyrielle changing over to the testing arena and spawning a dragon and a dwarf with a mastery in all combat skills wearing armor and wielding a weapon and a shield before possessing the dwarf and showing off how the fighting is.

"I don't think any part of the plot requires such an in depth system... definitely not the primary plot, considering the brutality of it all..."

"Yeah, I was more thinking the survival mechanics of it. Like you need to sleep and eat and drink and stuff. Oh, and you'll get brutalized if you sleep in the wilderness at night with no one around."

"But most of the plot doesn't take place in wilderness... it seems unnecessarily harsh..."
