It's fast, but a short-sighted practice, which shorterns your lifespan. What is cut off must be reattached, or at least be substituted with an equal replacement, re-growth takes too much substance. "D-d-during the... the interview...?" Selina pales. If she had, not only would she have made a fool of herself, likely reigniting her past of being bullied, but the others probably saw her as a bigger liability to them! Why couldn't she ever do something right?

Asuna looks at Ester strangely, then at the sleeping Marten. She seems to be thinking about something.

Marie chuckles at the argument. "If we're going to be scientific about this, regrowing body parts should totally be possible with stem cells. However, for a panacea to not only contain stem cells but ones that know how to regrow the area they're applied to... ehhh. Meh. Not important."

"Science has some applications, but in the world of the supernatural, sometimes science can't explain everything."

Asuna looks at Ester strangely, then at the sleeping Marten. She seems to be thinking about something.
