Maria, after conquering her urges, simply makes some cocoa, pops some biscuits on a plate and carries a tray into Ester's room.

Ester stares at Maria for several moments. _"Hi." She finally chokes out.

Maria sits down, putting the tray on a table next to her and taking a mug of cocoa, leaving the other for Ester.
