Distortions can be countered with the right enchantments or a Makarakarn. None of it is cheating so far as making sure the players can't kill everything without either a HARSH penalty or a plot mandated reason.)

For every use of the distortion katana's one shot kill, you lose twenty health and ten SP because that is retardely overpowered. Also, you may use the one shot kill ONCE in battle.))

((It's not fun. It's just the fights aren't nearly as fun as RP and I just want to get back to that. That and it's really satisfying to one shot someone when you have every reason to. Also you have every reason to make me unable to one shot them if you find it unfun. I wont complain if you had said something like, 'you hit him but your sword clangs off the improvised armor he was wearing under his shirt'. And I suppose I'm fine with the persona thing.))

Now that we have that one bit on why I was not happy with the battle out of the way...
Kyle wasn't leaving. He was just getting some distance to reattempt his normal gunshot strike entrance.
