He is currently sedated and unconscious, set for his next surgery in 2 hours.

Alice activates her soul vision and checks his soul's destination.

The man was a good man, and would be going to his deity's afterlife.

Alice replays the simulation. Was it going to be painful? Was the death preventable?

Without extreme magical interference, he would die. It would not be painful, he would be completely sedated, feeling no pain. He would not know he had died until he had arrived in his afterlife.

Alice's chesire cat grin returns. Excellent. They now had bait. She was considering ending his life right now and help free up a few surgeons, but if it was apparently so severe that only magic would save him... a miraculous recovery would surely attract attention...

The Selenites are hiding themselves for obvious reasons. Alice may be able to talk with them, though.

Alice skips to the Selenites and acts childishly, pretending that they are imaginary friends, nevertheless she does ask a question: "Can one of you help me heal?"
