Ciro likely manipulates blood to inflict pain and disrupt bodily functions. I tend to strip away everything to expose nerve cells before stopping bleeding and directly interacting with said cells. What about falsifying it? Say we do kill them, I don't have any objections to it, and my other form only tortures when necessary, however, if were decide to deter future adversaries, we could mutilate the corpse in a manner to indicate horrific torture.

No need to 'rough him up', just either get them arrested or kill them. If deterrence is required, apply it after the completion of the primary objective. Think they could be charged with anything?
