The multiverse is a big place. A really, really big place. And it's quite possible for stuff to go from one universe to another.

Richard and I came from a place informally called the Lost and Found and more scientifically known as 'dimensional dumping ground for a whole lot of random bullshit'. Well, neither of us originally came from there, but that's where we met, along with Camille and Alith and anyone else we've referred to. Camille's his girlfriend, by the way. WHO IS SERIOUSLY NOT DEAD OKAY. WHY DO YOU NOT TRUST THE POWER OF MAD SCIENCE AND FLUFFY FOX TAILS. >:I

But ahem! Anyways, Camille sort of died maybe at some point, which led Richard here to end up leaving that place. And I went after him when she came back, seeing as I figured he'd really like to know.

Only instead of dying under 'mysterious circumstances', as I'm pretty sure the official reports say here, I lived. And he probably exists in my world as well, explaining why Nyx didn't blast my world to hell and I even lived to tell this story.
