''Ok, here we go!'' George called the warning.
As everyone slowly raised themselves to their feet, the entire area spanning miles went pitch black for a tenth of a second before returning to a more dimmed level, thunderous roar and creaks cut through the air amongst the rumbles of war, as in mid air, above the enemy ship, an old inn floated, surrounded by dimensional waves and dark matter energy taken physical form.
Gintama saw the door fling open. This was it.
''One last thing!'' Gintama stayed rooted to the spot, but did not turn. ''You have a great power, Matt. A untouched potential that will help you rise to levels not expected. You will be able to defend your friends.'' George smiled. Gintama wasn't sure what to make of it, but had no time to digest the information, as George looked at his imaginary watch. ''2 Seconds...''
A cry of pain, stretching in its duration and faintly recognisable reached the groups ears, before a lightning bolt exited the inn's door as said inn began to fade once more, in a similar way it arrived.
''TAKE ON THIS, YOU LOUSY LUMP!'' Gintama unleashed all his stored energy, a second enlonged cry of pain as the energy left his aching body and formed a giant storm cloud, blocking the ships view and hitting it from all angles with its multiple lightning.
Gintama, as the last of this storm finished itself, suddenly had a crack of lightning envelop him as he fell for about 100 metres. He regained consciousness and thought quickly, forming another storm cloud to charge himself back up to take this thing on one on one if needed. He was still higher than the ship.
''Keep your attention on me, alien!'' Gintama said under his breath.
