Conny gets a final idea. She grabs an IPad, and flips to a movie, then shows it to Ray at 4x speed! It was a michael bay film.

The gray blur that is Camille arrives on the scene and stops being a gray blur, seeing the rift. And Dorian, too, though she only weakly remembers  him. She pulls out her gadget. It looks very complicated, but what the hell does it do? Well, it might stabilize things and prevent a potential explosion.

"Hey, you! Get back from that thing! It's not safe!"

As Dorian starts to move out of the area, a gray blur moves past him very quickly. The wind of the fast movement hits Dorian and he is put off balance slightly but quickly readjusts to a standing position, "Wha- huh? How did you get here so fast?" he asks mostly to himself in wonder however. Dorian knew the best thing to do in this situation would be to just run the other way but for some reason, he was curious, "What is that thing anyway? And why isn't it pulling me in too?" he calls out to the girl now maneuvering some strange technology.

"Hehehe, fair enough. Perhaps it's time to kick some ass, love."
Marie shapeshifts. Minus scythe, for now. She grins widely, the grin of someone who cares for havoc and catastrophe, and also a lovestruck grin, the grin of someone who has realized who they care for.

"Let's go, shall we?"

Camille looks at Dorian with a frown, before grabbing him and pulling him back!

"I'll tell you later! This is a dimensional rift! I've got to make sure it's not going to explode with the force of a nuclear warhead before anything else! And no, I have no idea!"

She presses a button and throws the device into the rift! There, now it won't violently dissociate and such...

"Wait, that thing is a bomb?!" He freaks out for a moment before he forces himself to regain composure.

Come on man, focus, don't freak out... he thinks to himself to calm down. He smooths out the wrinkles in his shirt and vest when he was grabbed by the strange girl as he spoke again, "So if it isn't going to blow anymore because you threw that thing in, what does it do now? Just keep pulling objects in?"

Cyrielle walks over near Camille to inspect the rift. "Definitely not something I'd like to enter."

Camille is also calming down.

"It could have been, if we werrrre unlucky.  But now? It's basically a worrrmhole. Something might come out of it, eventually. Therrrre's no way to be surrre. I did brrrring a drrrone with me, though, to trrry and see what's on the otherrr side."
Camille pulls out what looks less like a drone and more like an armored box with sensors. She thrrrows that in, then pulls out a tablet-sized device that is in fact the remote control/feed from its camera and other things. There's really not anything to control.
