Sen dope slaps Bartimaeus and calls him names sighs, "It even reflects void magic. Otherwise my seal would have hit it. I am still a demon remember. My magics are laced with a faint trace of void." Sen now has a large growing pile of books behind her. Her reading speed is incredible.

<Who would abduct someone to enhance them? For that matter, why is it always an eye? I know it is rather symbolic and whatnot, but does replacing an eye with an artificial equivalent serve any practical purpose aside from giving an excuse to give a person an alternate form of vision or raise questions as to why the people responsible are not making a fortune selling those? For that matter, if he was abducted and modified, one would think that a fail-deadly would have been implemented first, in case said abductee escapes or is rescued>.
