Alice looked slightly puzzled at the the fact the ball hadn't gone in but quickly she went to pick up the ball again.

((To be fair it wouldn't read as magical :3

It's a shaping effect. the severing itself is magical. the effects aren't. you'd see that SOMETHING magical was done, but there's nothing magical actually there.))

Alice looked towards Nodoka but before she could say anything Bartimaeus spoke

"Slick move, Gatekeeper." the ball suddenly says.

Mimi just idly chatters with Lizzie for awhile until other things happened.

Bartimaeus pushes him off.

Lizzie hugs the bear and falls asleep.

Mimi smiles and patpats Lizzie as she slept for a bit before walking away.

((Technically it wouldn't work in the first place since it's not penetration that allows the ball to move through the hoop but the air moving aside to let it through.))

((to be fair, Nodoka is the only one around watching, and we have a fair idea what she can do. If you are going to screw around, at least stick go with the flow instead of going nuh-huh, I am foolproof))
