Alucard moves to enter the tunnel with caution.

Lunette nods and lets Alucard enter the tunnel, "If it's safe you have to come back and tell me immediately though."

Alucard gives a solemn nod and enters the tunnel.

 "Lolgrammoth is much funner than whatever domain this regal thing is."

Lucy follows Alucard.

With every step Alucard takes, he seems to be breathing heavier. Towards the final stretch, there seems to be a wall that resembles a kind of orange and purple gelatin. As he gets closer, he eyes contort and twist away in almost painful ways, running out of directions to safely look into, making it impossible to ever focus his view on what's ahead of him. Should he attempt to touch it, his fingers would bend away from it to almost breaking point, and it takes quite some force to keep his fingers in check.

Alucard audibly grunts in pain for the first time since he entered the castle.
Bartimaeus shapeshifts into a cloud of smoke and continues on.

Lucy stays back. She's pretty sure that though the pain would be bearable, what would come next would be worse.


And not worth the negotiation, just yet.

The moment his fingers make even the slightest contact with the mass, an incredible suction begins holding unto him. The gelatine moves moves like a living organism, in clumsy but greedy movements that one would unmistakenly recognise as an attempt to swallow Alucard.
