Tears are streaming down Bethany's cheeks.

A few tears falls down Esters' cheeks in sympathy, "I don't want to see you like this, so just let it all out, okay? And then we can go eat chocolate, and watch a watch, and have lots of fun together! 'Cause we're super amazing people who can get over this kind of stuff and laugh about it afterwards."

HILDA simply looks towards Lunette with indifferent azure eyes.

Lunette furrows her brow, "But how? Something has to get the magic working."

Ester lets Bethany cry for as long as she needs too, comfortingly holding her and stroking her head.

Will begins work on designing a device to allow teleportation to the Arthurian world, all the more important because of Lunette.

It has several parts. One is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a "battery" for mana, to power the whole thing. Another is a mana generator, pretty vague and with a note next to it saying "ADD SELINA'S MAGIC HERE". A third part is a gateway, with a slot for the menhir in the top. The menhir, with its origin in the target world and charge of teleportation magic there, will help guide the signal*, and the gate will create the portal. Next, there is a helmet of sorts to put on someone, to aid the guiding process by imagining the world. Naturally, this helmet will be used by Lunette. Finally, there is a control box that can store locations to gate to, meaning that finding the world should be unneeded after the initial guidance. Oh, did I say finally? Because technically the assorted magical wires connecting everything are another set of arts.
*This use of the menhir does not trigger the safeguards, unless the safeguards prevent supernatural observation--which is obviously untrue, as Will was able to analyse it with ease.

This whole device will be able to open a portal to anywhere in the multiverse, with just a menhir-shaped thing from that area which has traces of teleportation magic used to move to or from there.

I could roll but, really, there's no penalty for failure so I would just try again.

Bethany makes an "EEP!" but just kind of accepts it. After awhile she finally stops.
"O-Okay, I think I'm good."
She gives a small smile.
