Reed:"Hmm, it doesn't really make much sense to me, but that's why we built 7 prototypes and sent them around the globe. It leaves a bit of room for experimentation. If emotions are useless, that's just a single beta-version ruined, and we will still have enough data for the final product based on the other 6. I approve [with a nod to Dr.Sanderwick] under the condition that you can make sure the prototype stays under controle. You may begin augmentation of the AI Mr.Johnson."

Kyle nods and pulls out a flash drive.
"IF, this goes well, here's a spare back up. It'll at the very least be nice if I had a copy here because someone could destroy the other ones."

[Akroma]

"Good, so this is decided then. We expect weekly status updates and detailed monthly reports on the progress of ICARUS-05. Dismissed."


Mrs.Brandenburg looks like she's about to raise her voice concerning the sexual harrassement charges, but Mr.Reed shakes his head in a very clear way. Evereyone is way too tired for stuff like this.

Kyle waves goodbye to everyone and gives Ms.Bradenburg a cheeky wink before walking out followed by HK-47.

They presumably go home via teleporter with Will.

ICARUS is idling in the living room.


Hainuwele is baking tiny cookies.

"Icarus. I presume you know that I have approval for a modification from the council?"

[Akroma]

"Understood."


ICARUS lower facial plate slides down, revealing a USB port and a disk drive.

Kyle tilts his head before shrugging and plugging in the USB drive.

[Akroma]

The loading symbol appears on ICARUS eyes. It takes several minutes until they go away.


"The installed software requires a system restart.

[restart now][remind me later][cancel]"

"Restart now."

Kyle makes a mental note to have the council move the drive and port to a more tactically sound area. Like... her arm pit and her pubic region. Is it technically a pubic region? ... Just gonna call it the area below the waist on the torso.

[Akroma]

"Booting..."
ICARUS eyes turn from the Kyle-demanded purple to the origincal cyan.
"I like that color more, excuse me."
The voice is still very monotone, but a less of a machine monotone, but a calm monotone. Sort of like Dr.Manhatten

"It's perfectly fine dear."

ICARUS stares at her own hand for a long while. Then picks up a lamp from a table and observes it.


"Why?"
